How to change your Minecraft skins on mobile Pocket Edition (PE)

1. On the Skin Download Page, Click on the Skin to download the Skin that you wish to change

2. Download will be processed, and the file will be placed in your "Download" folder

3. IF you download the skinpack, you have to extract the Zip File first to obtain each Skin

4. Place and hold your finger on the image for 2 to 3 seconds and you should be prompted to “Share”, “Add to Photos” or “Copy”. Select “Add to Photos” and the skin file will be saved into your Photo album on your device.

5. Go to the Minecraft App game, click on the Profile button on the lower right.

6. Tap on Edit Character

7. Tap on the 2nd icon to the left. Followed by “Owned”, “Import” then “Choose New Skin”.

8. Your photo album will open up for you to select the skin image you have just saved.

9. You will be prompted to choose between the 3px Slim on the left or the 4px classic on the right. Most skins are 4px classic sized, when in doubt always choose the one on the right.

*You can find out which arm size is the accurate one on the Skin page where you first downloaded the skin. The information is located on the lower left corner of the 3D model previewer.

If you selected the wrong size, don’t worry! Just go back to step 5 and upload the skin again with the correct size.

Load up the game and you should be wearing your new skin in the game!

And remember!

You can change your skins as many times as you like!

HOW TO IMPORT MCPACK FILE

  1. Launch Minecraft.
  2. Download the world or Add-On file to your Android device.
  3. Go to the Settings app and select Storage > Explore (at the bottom). If you do not have a settings app, you can install a file explorer app like ES File Explorer.
  4. Select the directory where you saved the file, usually "Download".
  5. Select the file & the Add-On should open in Minecraft.

Notes:

  • If you're opening a .mcworld that contains Add-Ons, the game will notify you that you've successfully imported the world. It will then be available from the "Play" menu.
  • If you're opening a .mcpack, a pop-up notification will alert you that you've successfully imported the pack. Depending on the pack type, this will then be available when editing worlds in either the Behavior Pack Tab or Resource Pack Tab.

HOW TO IMPORT MAP/MCWORLD FILE

If you've downloaded a .MCWorld file then open FX File Explorer (make sure you've got the latest version) and then go to your Downloads folder. Find the .mcworld file and tap on it to import it to your game. The world should automatically launch in-game.

If the above instructions don't work then use FX File Explorer to rename the .mcworld file to end with .zip and then use the guide down below to install it.

Please read the following guide if you've downloaded a .ZIP or .RAR file.

1. To install Minecraft PE maps you need ASTRO File Manager (or any other file manager). Lets start by installing that app on your Android device.

2. Find an app in the maps section of our website. In this example we will show you how to install Skyblock PE. Click the download button to download the map.

install

4. Most of the times you will be redirected to another website, such as Dropbox or MediaFire, where you can download the map. At other times it will be downloaded instantly to your device. Normally the downloaded file is a .RAR or .ZIP.

5. Use ASTRO File Manager to open the .RAR or .ZIP and then copy the world folder to the following path: /storage/emulated/0/games/com.mojang/minecraftWorlds/. It might take a few seconds for it to process.

6. You have now installed the map and can safely close the file manager app.

7. Open Minecraft Pocket Edition (or restart the app if you had it opened during the map installation).

8. Look for the map in your world list. If it's an old map it's usually in the bottom of the list.
